Penfield Place is a small 50-bed facility comprised with all private rooms with a brand-new wing. Penfield Place Nursing & Rehabilitation is part of Hurlbut Care Communities, a locally owned group of 11 skilled nursing facilities whose mission is to provide person-centered care to our residents and support to our families - to enrich body, heart, mind and spirit.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Director of Nursing you will function in an administrative capacity to ensure that resident services are provided in accordance with New York State and Federal regulations and the policies and procedures of our facility. You will lead a dedicated nursing staff and work collaboratively with the Administrator, medical providers, and other Department Heads. You will have interactions with representatives from hospitals, insurers and other outside agencies. You will enjoy a collegial relationship with other Directors of Nursing within Hurlbut Care Communities. Additional Requirements of the Director of Nursing include: A current license and registration in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS . Include the highest standards of nursing practice. Proven track record of managerial experience. Excellent customer service skills.
