Job Description

Meadows at Brookmeade is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team! As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll be working closely with our Director of Nursing at our Skilled Nursing Facility. Your responsibilities will include directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of our specialized nursing staff, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents Life is about choices. Responsibilities:
Planning, organizing, and implementing the day-to-day functions of the nursing department Developing and maintaining our policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines Being a team leader, supporting and encouraging your team to deliver outstanding work and celebrate their successes Completing administrative duties, such as medical forms, reports, and evaluation Providing direct nursing care when needed Assisting in determining staffing needs to ensure smooth operations Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum one-year experience in nursing service administration (preferred) Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of New York Education or experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred Age-specific knowledge for adult and geriatric residents Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and conflict resolution expertise Flexibility, punctuality, professionalism, and reliability Strong customer service skills and a compassionate nature Join our dedicated team where your skills and passion will be valued and appreciated.
