Job Description
Assistant Director of Nursing Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) with a passion for long-term care to join our leadership team. The ADON will assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence within our nursing department.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the management and supervision of nursing staff within the long-term care setting. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies and procedures tailored to long-term care. Monitor and evaluate patient care standards and outcomes specific to long-term care residents. Support staff development through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Participate in budgeting and resource allocation for the nursing department. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards related to long-term care. Address staff and patient concerns effectively and efficiently. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree preferred. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in NY. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 years in a long-term care or leadership role. Strong knowledge of nursing practices, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance specific to long-term care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer:
