Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Brooklyn, NY. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing daily clinical and operational activities in the Labor & Delivery unit Supervise, mentor, and evaluate L&D nursing staff and charge nurses Ensure compliance with state, federal, Joint Commission, AWHONN, and ACOG standards Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based maternal care practices Assist with staffing, scheduling, and unit readiness for obstetric emergencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes Qualifications Strong clinical background in high-risk Labor & Delivery nursing required Prior leadership experience as ADON, Nurse Manager, or supervisory role required Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of New York BSN required; Master's degree preferred BLS certification required Strong crisis management, leadership, and communication skills For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
