DAYSHIFT
opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering the highest standard of resident care.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day nursing activities for a skilled nursing unit Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care Admit, transfer, and discharge residents in compliance with facility policies Coordinate nursing services with other departments to ensure continuity of care Participate in on-call rotation with three other nurse managers Conduct resident rounds, review care plans, and provide direct nursing care as needed Assist with physician rounds and communicate resident needs and updates Monitor stock levels of medications, supplies, and equipment Prepare and maintain accurate medical forms, reports, evaluations, and charts Investigate and complete accident/incident reports as required Ensure nursing personnel follow established procedures and policies Welcome and orient new residents and their families to the facility
Qualifications:
Current, active, and unencumbered RN license in Ohio Nursing degree from an accredited program (RN or LPN) Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, and vent unit experience Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to make independent clinical and administrative decisions Patient, professional, and tactful in interactions with staff, residents, families, and external partners Familiarity with PointClickCare electronic medical records is a plus If you are a motivated and compassionate nursing professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
