Job Description

Description Director of Nursing (DON) - Full-Time Cincinnati, OH We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical operations of a well-established skilled nursing facility in the Cincinnati area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader who is focused on quality outcomes, team development, and operational excellence. Position Summary The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the nursing department. This leader will ensure the highest standards of care are delivered while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements and driving continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight to the nursing team, including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs Maintain survey readiness and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations Drive improvements in quality measures and clinical outcomes Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to build a strong, accountable team Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent resident care Oversee infection control, risk management, and clinical systems Participate in budgeting, labor management, and strategic planning Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio Previous DON experience in a skilled nursing facility required Demonstrated success with state survey results and regulatory compliance Strong knowledge of long-term care operations and reimbursement Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to step into a leadership role and make an immediate impact What We Offer Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Supportive leadership and strong operational infrastructure Opportunity to lead a team and drive meaningful change Apply today to learn more about this leadership opportunity!
