AMA LTC is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly skilled Mobile Director of Nursing (DON) to support multiple facilities and elevate the quality of resident care across our organization. The Role As our Mobile Director of Nursing, you will play an essential leadership role across multiple locations, mentoring nursing teams, supporting clinical operations, and ensuring high-quality care delivery. You will be a trusted clinical resource, a problem-solver, and a stabilizing force wherever you go.
You Will:
Assess residents' health needs and develop effective, individualized care plans Guide and support nursing teams in the execution of clinical standards and best practices Monitor vital signs, clinical status, and key care indicators, reporting changes promptly Ensure accurate and compliant documentation within electronic medical records Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care Provide education and support to residents and families Maintain awareness of current nursing research, trends, and regulatory expectations Participate in professional development—and encourage it within your teams Deliver hands-on support when needed to assist nursing staff during high-demand periods Qualifications Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or DON-level experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and environments Excellent critical-thinking, assessment, and organizational abilities
