Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing to support our leadership team in providing exceptional nursing care. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a background in education administration within healthcare settings, and a passion for guiding nursing staff toward excellence. This role involves overseeing clinical operations, fostering leadership development, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards to promote a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in developing strategic plans to improve patient care quality and operational efficiency. Support budgeting processes by monitoring resource allocation and controlling costs without compromising care standards. Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional growth and maintaining high performance levels. Collaborate with educational teams to facilitate ongoing training programs for nursing personnel, ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements. Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards. Participate in management meetings to develop policies that enhance resident satisfaction and staff engagement. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Skills Proven expertise in strategic planning and management within healthcare or educational administration. Strong budgeting skills with experience in financial oversight related to nursing operations. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and conflict resolution. Extensive knowledge of healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices. Experience working within university or academic healthcare settings is highly desirable. Ability to effectively teach, train, and mentor staff while promoting a culture of learning and excellence. Excellent communication skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams, residents, families, and external partners.
