This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership experience , including Nurse Supervisors, Charge Nurses, or Unit Managers ready to take the next step in their career. As ADON, you'll play an essential role in supporting the Director of Nursing, leading clinical teams, ensuring high standards of resident care, and helping cultivate a positive, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Nursing in managing day‑to‑day clinical operations. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff. Oversee compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and best clinical practices. Assist with staffing, scheduling, and monitoring labor needs. Participate in quality assurance, care plan development, and performance improvement initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate documentation and reporting. Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and resident-centered care. Step in for DON when needed to oversee facility nursing operations. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in Ohio. Previous leadership experience required — Unit Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Charge Nurse , or higher strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, state regulations, survey processes). Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to motivate teams and maintain a positive work environment. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and clinical assessment skills.
