  • London, Ohio Bluebird Retirement Community is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who is passionate about senior care, supports staff development, and is committed to creating a positive and resident-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily nursing operations Ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies Manage and mentor nursing staff Coordinate resident assessments and care planning Work closely with residents, families, physicians, and community leadership Participate in quality assurance and clinical oversight Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and exceptional resident care
Qualifications:
Current Ohio RN license required Previous leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or related healthcare setting preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team Knowledge of Ohio assisted living regulations preferred Why Bluebird?
