Job Description

Director of Nursing Madison, OH 44057 Full-time Full-time Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a strong, hands-on Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations within the facility. This is the top nursing leadership role in the building, responsible for overseeing all clinical services, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing nursing staff, and driving quality outcomes. We are looking for a DON who understands the skilled nursing environment and can build structure, accountability, and a strong clinical team. Key Responsibilities Provide full oversight of the nursing department Maintain survey readiness and regulatory compliance Supervise ADON, Unit Managers, MDS, and nursing staff Drive Quality Measures and reduce rehospitalizations Oversee staffing, scheduling, and labor management Partner closely with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team Develop and retain nursing leadership staff Qualifications Active Ohio RN license Prior Director of Nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility required Strong survey and regulatory knowledge Experience managing subacute and long-term care populations Proven leadership and team-building ability What's Being Offered Competitive compensation aligned with experience Performance-based incentives Supportive ownership Long-term growth opportunity IND456
