O Neill Healthcare in North Olmsted is currently looking for a Director of Nursing to join our team! Successful candidates must be a licensed RN in the state of Ohio with at least 2 years of previous long-term care and managerial experience. Excellent leadership and communication skills, high standards for quality of care, and knowledge of long-term care regulations are a must. Responsibilities:
Oversee the nursing services staff, including scheduling and assignments Ensure the nursing department functions efficiently and professionally at all times Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Monitor and maintain documentation to comply with all federal and state standards Maintain accurate patient medical records
Qualifications:
Must have an active RN license in the State of Ohio Must have two years of experience in a geriatric setting Two years of supervisory experience in a geriatric setting is strongly preferred. Must have familiarity with Point Click Care Must have strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Must have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Must enjoy working with the elderly Must be able to project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents in a positive manner.
