Director of Nursing (DON) Wapakoneta Manor About Us Wapakoneta Manor is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. Our team is committed to creating a supportive, respectful environment where both residents and staff can thrive. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. The DON is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a positive clinical culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee all nursing staff and daily clinical operations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Maintain and improve quality measures and survey readiness Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical programs Monitor staffing, scheduling, and labor management Lead infection control and clinical education initiatives Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal resident outcomes Manage hiring, training, and performance of nursing staff Participate in QAPI and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Active RN license in the state of Ohio Previous DON or strong ADON/Unit Manager experience preferred Long-term care / skilled nursing experience required Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Proven ability to manage staffing, compliance, and clinical outcomes What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) PTO + paid holidays Supportive leadership and team environment Opportunity to make a real impact in a close-knit facility Why Join Us?
