Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing for a direct hire opportunity in Florence, SC with a well-established healthcare services organization. This management-level nursing leadership role is ideal for a compassionate, strategic, and clinically strong RN who is ready to lead nursing operations, elevate quality of care, and support a high-performing clinical team. The Director of Nursing will play a visible leadership role in shaping patient-centered care, strengthening compliance, mentoring nursing staff, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting professionalism, accountability, and compassionate patient care. Oversee daily nursing operations to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and high-quality care delivery. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, quality standards, and best practices. Partner with interdisciplinary leaders to improve patient outcomes, staff engagement, operational performance, and care coordination. Manage staffing plans, scheduling strategies, recruitment support, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention initiatives. Monitor quality metrics, patient satisfaction, regulatory compliance, risk management, and performance indicators while leading continuous improvement efforts.
