Autumn Care of West | Knoxville, TN Autumn Care West is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical operations and support our mission of delivering exceptional care in a warm, resident-focused environment. This is a key leadership role with direct responsibility for overseeing all nursing services, regulatory compliance, and clinical outcomes in our senior living community.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership and direction for nursing and clinical services Oversee staffing, training, and supervision of nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and Resident Assistants Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, company policies, and best practices in long-term care Promote and maintain a culture of accountability, compassion, and resident-centered care Lead performance improvement initiatives and respond proactively to quality assurance findings Collaborate with the Executive Director, medical providers, and families to ensure continuity and quality of care Develop and manage clinical budgets and resource allocation Respond to clinical emergencies and assist with resident assessments when needed

Qualifications:

Current Nursing license in the State of Tennessee (required) Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance and senior care standards Proven success in staff development, conflict resolution, and operational oversight Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills Passion for improving the lives of older adults and mentoring others in compassionate care delivery Why Join Autumn Care? $73,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
