Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of nursing services within our facility.

Duties:

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
• Manage care plans and monitor resident progress
• Uphold resident rights and advocate for their needs
• Coordinate hospice care services when necessary
• Maintain a safe and efficient working environment for the nursing team

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Previous experience in nursing administration, preferably in a nursing home setting
• Knowledge of home care, medical terminology, and physiology
• Ability to effectively manage a team of nursing professionals
