Neonatal ICU Director HiredFirst El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time $130,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Nursing NRP Certification BLS Certification Basic life support Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bachelor's degree in nursing STABLE Nursing Full Job Description This Neonatal ICU Director opportunity is based in El Paso, TX at a 300+ bed full-service regional medical center that houses the area's only kidney transplant center, a Level III trauma center, and dedicated NICU and Transition Nursery services. The role. Reporting to the Administrative Director, the NICU Director holds 24-hour accountability for operations across the NICU, Transition Nursery, and NICU Transport program. The director oversees day-to-day departmental operations while developing budgetary projections and capital resource plans in collaboration with administrative leadership. A core focus is building and sustaining staff competency through direct HR oversight — including hiring, evaluating, coaching, and developing the nursing team. The director also drives multidisciplinary coordination among nursing, medicine, respiratory care, laboratory, and pharmacy, and leads quality improvement analysis across all services within the unit. What we're looking for. BSN required; Master's degree preferred Current RN licensure in Texas or a compact state Current BLS (BCLS) certification required Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required Current
