Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our healthcare leadership team. Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance nursing services and patient outcomes. Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards, policies, and procedures. Manage staffing schedules, supervise nursing staff, and facilitate ongoing staff development and training programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and improve service delivery. Monitor departmental budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource utilization to support organizational financial goals. Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards. Lead quality assurance initiatives by analyzing clinical data, implementing improvements, and maintaining documentation for audits. Support executive leadership in policy development, organizational planning, and community outreach efforts. Requirements Proven management experience within healthcare settings, preferably with a background in nursing administration or leadership roles. Strong knowledge of state-specific education laws related to healthcare training and certification requirements. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, organizational budget management, and personnel management in education or healthcare environments. Excellent team management skills with a focus on staff supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluation. Experience with instructional leadership in education or training programs for healthcare professionals. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher; Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred. Valid nursing license as required by state law; additional certifications such as Nurse Executive or Healthcare Leadership are advantageous.
