This position involves managing clinical outcomes, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various healthcare settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, home health, hospice care, and acute care. Strong leadership skills and a commitment to patient-centered care are essential. Duties Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring effective staffing and shift management. Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans for patients. Oversee the administration of medications and treatments in compliance with established protocols. Ensure accurate documentation of medical records and review documentation for compliance with HIPAA and QAPI regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes. Conduct regular assessments of patient health status and adjust care plans as necessary. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff through training and supervision. Maintain knowledge of current best practices in nursing administration, including EMR systems. Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, home health, hospice care, or acute care environments. Strong management skills with a focus on nurse management and supervising experience. Proficient in EMR systems for effective documentation and record keeping. In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and HIPAA regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. Strong analytical skills for reviewing documentation and developing comprehensive care plans. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
