Saratoga View Assisted living- is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with great leadership skills to join our team as the Director of Nursing for our Assisted Living Facility in Saratoga, UT. Responsibilities:
The Director of Nursing is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall functions of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing long-term care facilities, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to the residents at all times. Qualifications Must be an active Registered Nurse license in good standing. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care. Positive attitude toward the elderly. Previous experience in an Assisted Living facility strongly preferred Must be knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations and guidelines governing long-term care _______________________________________ _________________ Administrator's Signature Date Required Qualifications A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university. Must have, as a minimum, one (1) to three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility. Current unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in practicing state. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. Current CPR certification.
