Position Overview:
The Assistant Director of Nursing will play a key role in overseeing nursing services in our assisted living and memory care units. This individual will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest standards of care are met for our residents. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate, skilled RN with experience in assisted living and memory care settings, and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the management and supervision of the nursing team Ensure the delivery of excellent care to residents in the assisted living and memory care units Oversee patient assessments, care plans, and the administration of medication Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and policies Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes high morale and collaboration Work alongside the Director of Nursing to implement growth initiatives and new programs
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Proven experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care settings Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Passionate about providing resident-centered care and creating a supportive environment Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive workplace culture Desire to grow within a large, expanding organization with opportunities for career advancement
