Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Program Director to oversee our operations and ensure the smooth running of our facility. As a Program Director, you will be responsible for managing and supervising staff, implementing care plans, and providing quality senior care services. The ideal candidate will have a background in social work or nursing, with experience in memory care and dementia care.Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
- Develop and implement care plans for residents, focusing on their individual needs and preferences
- Supervise and train staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Coordinate with medical professionals to ensure proper medication administration and healthcare services
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet the needs of the program
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and program activities
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff members
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in senior care
Experience:
- Previous experience in operations management or supervisory role within a nursing home or senior care facility
- Strong knowledge of social work or nursing principles and practices
- Experience in memory care and dementia care is highly preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans for seniors
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
