Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and strategic Assistant Director of Nursing to support the leadership and operational management of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing management, education administration, and healthcare leadership. In this role, you will collaborate with senior management to develop and implement policies, oversee clinical operations, and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your expertise in management, budgeting, and strategic planning will be vital to fostering an efficient, compliant, and patient-centered environment. Responsibilities Assist in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance nursing services and overall facility performance. Support budgeting processes by monitoring expenses, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring financial sustainability. Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork. Oversee clinical operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols. Collaborate with education departments to facilitate ongoing training programs for nursing staff and promote best practices in patient care. Participate in management meetings to contribute insights on staffing, policy development, and operational improvements. Assist in managing accreditation processes and maintaining documentation for regulatory compliance. Promote a culture of excellence in patient care through effective management, mentorship, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Proven experience in nursing management or leadership within a healthcare setting. Strong skills in strategic planning, management, and budget oversight. Experience with education administration or facilitating training programs for healthcare professionals. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team development and conflict resolution. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements. Previous experience working within a university or academic health environment is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
