With a focus on physical, occupational, and speech therapy, we also offer specialized memory care in a secured environment. Summary We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at The Pines Post Acute & Memory Care. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering an environment of compassion and professionalism. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our residents. Responsibilities Oversee all nursing operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. Develop and implement effective nursing care plans tailored to residents' needs. Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and teamwork. Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Ensure resident rights are upheld while providing compassionate care. Monitor quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred. Proven experience in a nursing leadership role within a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting. Strong knowledge of medical records management and care planning processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Point Click Care At least 1 year of long term care experience.
