Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) -
Shared Role Locations:
Hemet Hills Post Acute & San Jacinto Valley Post Acute Pay:
$120,000 - $150,000 annually (DOE)
Schedule:
Full-time Hemet Hills Post Acute and San Jacinto Valley Post Acute are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to oversee therapy services across both facilities in a shared leadership role. This position is ideal for a strong clinician-leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient outcomes. Position Summary The Director of Rehabilitation is responsible for the clinical and operational oversight of rehabilitation services, including staff management, program development, and regulatory compliance, across both assigned facilities. This role provides leadership to ensure the highest quality of care and efficient department operations. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation departments across both facilities Supervise, mentor, and support therapy staff, including PT, OT, and SLP teams Manage staffing, scheduling, and productivity to meet facility and patient needs Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations related to therapy services Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance Collaborate with facility leadership teams to support census growth and clinical outcomes Implement and evaluate therapy programs to meet the needs of residents Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing staff development Maintain strong relationships with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families Qualifications Active California license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) required Previous experience in a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) or leadership role preferred Experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting strongly preferred Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, reimbursement, and documentation standards Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to effectively manage operations across multiple facilities Why Join Our Team Leadership opportunity across two collaborative facilities Competitive salary and growth potential Supportive regional and facility leadership teams Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes We are an equal opportunity employer.
