Full-time Full-time Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Rehabilitation Services to join our team at The Palms at Sebring. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional rehabilitation services to our patients. With a focus on teamwork, empathy, and excellence, we are committed to delivering high-quality care that exceeds our patients' expectations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company standards Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs that promote patient independence and well-being Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and develop comprehensive care plans Provide guidance and support to rehabilitation staff, including training and mentoring Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction Monitor and report on departmental performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, length of stay, and readmission rates
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field Must have O.T., O.T.A., P.T., P.T.A. or S.L.P. license to be considered for this role. Minimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitation services Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising rehabilitation staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues Knowledge of rehabilitation best practices and regulatory requirements (e.g.
CARF, CMS
) Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a focus on patient care How to
