Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our rehabilitation services with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive rehabilitation programs designed to enhance patient recovery and quality of life. Your leadership will ensure that our rehabilitation center operates efficiently, complies with all regulations, and delivers exceptional patient care. Director of Rehabilitation Responsibilities Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and other related disciplines. Develop and implement evidence-based rehabilitation protocols aligned with current regulations and best practices in rehabilitation medicine. Oversee patient care plans, ensuring personalized treatment approaches that promote optimal recovery outcomes. Supervise clinical team members, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless patient transitions across acute care, long-term care, and outpatient settings. Manage ope rational aspects of the rehabilitation center, including staffing schedules, resource allocation, and quality assurance initiatives. Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and departmental activities in accordance with healthcare standards. Director of Rehabilitation Qualifications Proven experience in rehabilitation medicine or related fields within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers. Demonstrated leadership in clinical team management with strong skills in team building and staff development. Prior experience managing rehabilitation services within long-term care or acute care environments is highly desirable.
