Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Rehabilitation Director specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings to lead our multidisciplinary therapy team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality physical, occupational, speech-language pathology, and therapy services. Your leadership will ensure the seamless coordination of patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and the achievement of excellent clinical outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence rehabilitation programs positively while fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage the therapy department, including Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Occupational Therapists (OT), Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), and support staff. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to meet each patient's needs and recovery goals. Ensure all therapy services comply with federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies. Collaborate closely with nursing staff, physicians, and administrative teams to coordinate patient care plans and discharge processes. Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluations for therapy staff to promote professional growth. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, therapy sessions, and departmental activities in accordance with regulatory standards. Drive quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency within the therapy department. Experience Proven leadership experience in a SNF or similar long-term care setting managing multidisciplinary therapy teams. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation protocols across physical, occupational, speech-language pathology disciplines. Familiarity with regulatory requirements from agencies such as CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) and state licensing boards. Excellent communication skills to foster teamwork and build relationships with staff, patients, families, and external partners. Prior experience in program development, staff supervision, and quality assurance is highly preferred. $38.50 - $56.00 per hour
