You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative, patient-centered care that promotes independence and improves quality of life. Your expertise in rehabilitation medicine and team leadership will drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Duties Lead and coordinate all aspects of rehabilitation services across multiple settings, including skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, and long-term care environments. Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs tailored to diverse patient needs, focusing on recovery from injury, illness, or disability. Supervise clinical teams comprising physiotherapists, skilled nurses, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensure adherence to rehabilitation regulations, safety standards, and best practices in patient care. Oversee patient assessments, treatment planning, and progress tracking to maximize functional outcomes. Manage staffing schedules, training initiatives, and resource allocation to maintain optimal service delivery. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient rehabilitation plans effectively. Maintain detailed documentation of clinical activities, incident reports, and compliance records for regulatory audits. Skills Extensive knowledge of rehabilitation medicine principles and physiology related to patient recovery processes. Proven experience managing rehabilitation services within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers. Strong understanding of rehabilitation regulations and compliance standards across healthcare settings. Exceptional clinical team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff members. Proficiency in physiotherapy techniques and patient care strategies for diverse populations including individuals with disabilities or visual impairments. Ability to perform manual handling safely while managing heavy lifting tasks required during patient transfers or equipment setup. Familiarity with anatomy knowledge essential for designing effective rehabilitation interventions. Basic life support (BLS) certification along with CPR certification for emergency preparedness. Experience working in acute care environments with a focus on patient rehabilitation outcomes. Demonstrated capability in managing complex cases involving patients with varied needs such as long-term disabilities or post-injury recovery.
