  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Rehabilitation.
This pivotal role is open to licensed professionals including Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Occupational Therapists (OT), and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA). As a leader in rehabilitation medicine, you will oversee clinical operations, ensure compliance with rehabilitation regulations, and foster a patient-centered environment that promotes recovery and independence. Your energetic approach will inspire your team to deliver exceptional patient care while driving program growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and manage the rehabilitation department, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure high-quality patient care. Develop, implement, and monitor clinical protocols aligned with best practices in rehabilitation medicine and regulations. Oversee patient rehabilitation programs, ensuring personalized treatment plans that incorporate physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and disability management. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary clinical teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient care excellence. Ensure compliance with all rehabilitation regulations, safety standards such as basic life support (BLS) and CPR certifications, and documentation requirements. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to optimize rehabilitation services in long-term care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, acute care settings, or specialized rehabilitation centers. Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency. Requirements Valid licensure as a PT, PTA, SLP, OT or OTA with current certification in CPR/BLS. Extensive experience working within skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers with a focus on patient care and rehabilitation services management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and rehabilitation regulations to ensure safe and effective therapy delivery. Proven leadership skills in clinical team management, including staff supervision and training. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments to tailor effective treatment strategies. Hands-on experience with heavy lifting and manual handling techniques necessary for patient mobility assistance.
