About the Role Cascadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced regional Rehabilitation Resource to provide clinical, operational, financial, and leadership support to rehabilitation departments across skilled nursing facilities in Washington. The Rehabilitation Resource serves as a strategic partner to Directors of Rehabilitation, therapists, facility leadership teams, and regional operations leaders. This role focuses on driving clinical excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and financial performance while supporting rehabilitation departments through education, mentoring, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in skilled nursing rehabilitation management, reimbursement, and multi-site operations. Success in this role requires advanced analytical abilities, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence outcomes through collaboration, coaching, and performance improvement strategies. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Director of Rehabilitation, Regional Therapy Leader, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact across multiple communities and rehabilitation programs. Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence & Regulatory Compliance Support rehabilitation departments in delivering high-quality, patient-centered therapy services. Monitor clinical practices and outcomes to ensure compliance with federal, state, payer, and company standards. Assist facilities in preparing for regulatory surveys, audits, and compliance reviews. Promote evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives throughout rehabilitation departments. Partner with Directors of Rehabilitation to identify and address clinical opportunities and performance gaps. Operational Performance & Resource Management Analyze key therapy metrics, productivity trends, staffing models, and operational performance indicators. Support rehabilitation departments in achieving efficiency goals while maintaining quality care standards. Evaluate workflows and operational processes to identify opportunities for improvement and standardization. Assist with staffing strategies, recruitment support, onboarding, and workforce planning initiatives. Provide interim support and guidance to facilities experiencing leadership vacancies or operational challenges. Financial Performance & Reimbursement Optimization Monitor rehabilitation department financial performance, including revenue, labor management, and productivity metrics. Analyze reimbursement trends and support facilities in optimizing therapy-related reimbursement opportunities. Partner with facility and regional leadership teams to meet budgetary and financial objectives. Educate rehabilitation leaders on reimbursement practices, payer requirements, and financial drivers affecting therapy services. Assist in developing action plans to improve operational and financial outcomes. Leadership Development & Education Mentor and coach Directors of Rehabilitation and rehabilitation team members to strengthen leadership capabilities. Facilitate training and educational programs related to clinical practice, reimbursement, compliance, and operations. Support new rehabilitation leaders through onboarding, development, and transition planning. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. Serve as a trusted resource and subject matter expert for rehabilitation operations across the organization. Data Analysis & Process Improvement Utilize rehabilitation and healthcare software systems to evaluate department performance and identify trends. Develop and present reports, dashboards, and performance analyses to leaders at facility and regional levels. Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, compliance, and financial performance. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational initiatives and strategic goals. Track outcomes and monitor the effectiveness of improvement efforts across facilities. Qualifications Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology. Current professional licensure as required by discipline and state regulations. Previous experience as a Director of Rehabilitation or multi-site rehabilitation leader preferred within skilled nursing settings. Experience managing therapy operations, staffing, reimbursement, and financial metrics. Demonstrated success leading operational and clinical improvement initiatives. Skilled nursing, post-acute care, or long-term care experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of rehabilitation operations, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory compliance requirements. Advanced analytical and data interpretation skills. Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Proficiency with rehabilitation and healthcare software systems, including Net Health and PointClickCare (PCC). Ability to travel between facilities as needed.
