1 Description American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist for a 13-week travel contract at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska, requiring at least 2 years of experience and active REEGT certification. Details Acute care hospital setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma facility recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska 407-bed facility with an ambulatory EEG clinic (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM) and 24-hour hospital call coverage 365 days a year 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM On-call is shared among the team, with approximately 1 weekend of call per month required Block scheduling is not available Charting via Epic (experience required) Free parking on-site Scrubs provided Requirements Minimum of 2 years of EEG technologist experience Active BLS and REEGT certifications required Epic EMR experience required License required if applicable Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning to the facility as a traveler All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration — post-offer RTO requests are subject to denial A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration SSN and DOB are required for consideration Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are not eligible for this position
