1 Description American Traveler is hiring an EEG Technologist with R.EEGT certification and at least 1 year of experience performing EEG studies for a day-shift outpatient assignment. Details Outpatient EEG department serving infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients Average daily census of 4 patients with 4 visits per day 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Documentation completed using NeuroWorkBench and Cerner Assist with EMG/nerve conduction studies Perform electrode placement, sleep deprived EEG, sleep EEG, and evoked potentials Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience performing EEG studies required BLS and R.EEGT certification required R.NCS.T certification preferred Dual certification in EEG/EMG preferred Candidates with R.EEGT certification and at least 1 year of Nerve Conduction Study experience will also be considered Epic charting experience preferred AK state license required prior to start; compact license accepted at time of submission License required if applicable First-time travelers will be considered Additional Information In-clinic onboarding and orientation provided Annual and onsite training modules completed via HealthStream Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible Local candidates not accepted Returning staff must have a 2-year gap before returning as a traveler COVID vaccination compliance required per facility policy
