Job Description

Category Imaging - EEG Tech Job Type Contract Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting as an experienced EEG Technician on a contract basis. This position plays a vital role in the diagnosis and management of neurological conditions, ensuring accurate and timely electroencephalogram (EEG) studies for patients in need.
Schedule:
12-hour day shifts: Wednesday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM No regular weekend shifts On-call rotation: 1 weekday call per week, 1 Saturday call per month
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of prior experience functioning as an EEG Technician One of the following certifications is required: Board of Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) Certified EEG Technician (CET) registry Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Outstanding attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a clinical team
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced EEG studies, operating specialized neurodiagnostic equipment with precision and care Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring safety and comfort Accurately document patient data and technical observations in accordance with facility protocols Collaborate with neurologists and other clinical professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans Uphold the highest standards of infection control, patient confidentiality, and ethical care practices
