None About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a Magnet-designated Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois to hire an experienced EEG Technologist for a contract assignment. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient neurology services, including ICU coverage for continuous EEG monitoring. The EEG Technologist will work with a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics, assisting in the diagnosis and monitoring of neurological conditions such as seizures, stroke, trauma, and other complex neurological disorders. This opportunity is ideal for experienced EEG technologists who are confident working independently, comfortable in high-acuity settings, and experienced with continuous EEG monitoring workflows. ICU only Patient Types Neonates through geriatric patients Seizure disorders Stroke patients Trauma and gunshot wound patients Autism spectrum disorders ADHD Pseudo-seizures Key Responsibilities Perform EEG studies in inpatient, outpatient, and ICU settings Prepare patients and perform electrode placement Conduct recording and monitoring of EEG studies Recognize and document EEG patterns and abnormalities Wrap and maintain continuous EEG monitoring setups Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures Collaborate with neurologists and interdisciplinary teams Document procedures and patient information accurately Required Qualifications BLS certification required EEG certification required (unless grandfathered based on experience) Minimum 2 years of EEG experience required Neonatal EEG experience required Nihon Kohden software experience required Strong skills in: Electrode placement EEG recording and measurement Pattern recognition Continuous EEG setup and monitoring Preferred Qualifications EPIC EMR
