Job Summary and Qualifications Under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Clinical Manager and/or Director, the Cardiology Technician performs the following tasks: 12-lead EKG on inpatient and outpatient populations Timely completion of EKG order to charge reconciliation, ensuring all EKG orders are captured for inpatient and outpatient populations, and charges are entered and reconciled Assist with inpatient and outpatient populations for cardiac stress testing by prepping patient with EKG leads, providing patient education, entering data into EKG monitoring system, completing manual blood pressure measurements, and any other tasks defined as needed by manager or director What qualifications you will need: BLS Certification within 60 days of hire One year experience in clinical setting preferred Basic arrhythmia recognition preferred; required after ninety days Basic computer knowledge required Benefits Centerpoint Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
