What We're Looking For Education :
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Experience :
Minimum of two years of experience in a sleep center, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, required. Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing; good communication skills, medical terminology, previous experience with computers, manual dexterity and the capacity to deal with visual concepts; initiative and judgment to proceed with work without constant supervision; high degree of patience and understanding in dealing with unusual situations; ability to work flexible nighttime schedule; basic ECG recognition; general understanding of the concepts of polysomnography.
