Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal leadership opportunity managing and directing all operational and administrative activities within a top-tier cardiovascular invasive procedure environment. This contract position requires expertise in electrophysiology, a proven ability to guide a team, and the technical skills to oversee advanced adult EP and device cases in a renowned hospital setting. You'll lead within a Magnet-designated, Level I Trauma, Chest Pain, and Stroke Center, contributing to a culture of innovation, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Schedule/Hours:
4 (10-hour) shifts per week, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks Weekend call rotation and holiday coverage (details discussed in interview)
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' EP Lab experience; cardiovascular invasive EP Tech or RN background Supervisory experience preferred; readiness for leadership essential Bachelor's degree preferred
Cardiac Cath Techs:
Active BLS and ACLS; ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS required; RCES preferred
RNs:
Active BLS and ACLS required Proficiency in charting (EPIC), pre/post documentation, and managing conscious sedation and pressors Skilled in scrubbing/monitoring complex EP and device cases Ability to work collaboratively with support teams (charge nurses, VAD, RT, ECMO, and Code Teams) Must reside at least 50 miles from unit
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate daily workflow and staffing for multiple EP labs Lead and mentor clinical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes Facilitate advanced electrophysiology procedures and device implantations Foster ongoing professional growth, education, and technical excellence Ensure adherence to facility protocols and best practices
