Category Imaging - EP Tech Job Type Contract Exciting opportunity for an experienced EP Tech professional with leadership skills to manage and direct the operational and administrative activities within cardiovascular invasive procedure rooms. This contract role is geared toward individuals ready to step into a supervisory capacity while applying their advanced expertise in a high-acuity, academic medical environment.
Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts: 6:30am-5:00pm Schedule cycles every 6 weeks Weekend call rotation and holiday coverage as needed (details discussed during interview) Required one week of facility orientation and two days departmental onboarding
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years' EP lab experience Bachelor's degree preferred EP Tech or Cardiac Cath Tech background required BLS and ACLS certifications ARRT-R or RCIS mandatory; RCES preferred Proficiency with EP/structural scrub procedures; monitoring experience preferred Strong documentation skills; experience with
EPIC EMR
Prior supervisory or lead technician experience is an advantage Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Role Responsibilities:
Oversee clinical operations and administrative tasks in EP Labs (supporting 3-4 labs) Coordinate staff schedules and departmental workflow Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care following safety protocols Work collaboratively with nurses, traffic flow coordinators, code, ECMO, and VAD teams Provide technical support for complex adult electrophysiology procedures, ablations, device implants, and cardiac emergencies Foster an environment of clinical innovation, continued learning, and professional growth Maintain and optimize use of advanced technology and equipment (Philips, GE, Siemens)
