An EKG Technician assists with specialized tests using an electrocardiogram machine, to monitor the performance of a patient's heart. Works under the direction of a physician or specialist. Explains test procedures to patients, sets up and runs equipment and monitors readings. Provides reports and readings from the test to a physician for analysis.

EPIC EXPERIENCE
Education/Certification Education:
High school diploma plus an accredited program (certificate, associate's degree) in Neurodiagnostic Technology.Certification:
R. EEG T.
(Registered EEG Technologist) fromABRET, AHA BLS.
First Day Instructions? /Orientation:
Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination- once scheduled, candidate does not have the option of rescheduling any classes.
