- 4.3 Ann Arbor, MI Job Details Full-time $83,179.20
- $120,744.
- Perform vascular diagnostic procedures independently utilizing ultrasound and other ancillary devices.
- Associate degree from a formal Vascular Sonography Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Programs (CAAHEP).
- Bachelor's degree in related field Experience with IAC Accreditation and protocol creation.
Additional Information Physical requirements:
Must be sufficiently healthy to meet the emotional and physical demands of the position. Must have sufficient strength to move patients, heavy equipment on wheels, (up to 400 lb.) and move patients in wheelchairs and stretchers. Ability to maintain prolonged arm positions necessary for scanning. Ability to maintain awkward scanning, sitting and standing positions for extended periods of time. Must be able to move 50 lb.. Ability to concentrate and focus attention, thoughts and efforts on patients and equipment for varying periods of time. Union Affiliation This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U-M and the United Michigan Medicine Allied Professionals (UMMAP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment. Background Screening Michigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
