Acute Care Hospital Responsibilities Perform routine and long-term Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies Conduct EEG testing for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Perform bedside EEG procedures in ICU and inpatient units Complete outpatient EEG testing Apply electrodes using the International 10-20 System Monitor patients during testing and ensure accurate data collection Identify and document abnormalities during EEG procedures Prepare detailed reports for physician interpretation Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and quality standards Minimum Qualifications Registered EEG Technologist ( R.EEGT. ) through ABRET Current BLS Certification (AHA) Minimum 1 year of Neurodiagnostic/EEG experience Experience performing EEG studies on adult and pediatric patients ICU EEG experience required Strong knowledge of EEG equipment and neurodiagnostic procedures Ability to participate in call rotation Preferred Qualifications Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) experience Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) Continuous EEG Monitoring Inpatient & Outpatient EEG Testing ICU Neurodiagnostics Pediatric Neurodiagnostics Electrode Application (10-20 System) Technology Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Natus Xltek EEG System Why Apply?
