Required (Nights, Weekends & After Hours) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The EEG Technologist will perform routine and long-term electroencephalograms (EEGs) for pediatric through geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings while ensuring accurate data collection and patient safety. Responsibilities Perform routine and long-term EEG studies on neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Apply electrodes using the standard 10-20 system and cap application techniques. Conduct bedside EEGs, ICU monitoring, and outpatient EEG testing. Monitor patients during EEG procedures and ensure patient safety. Recognize and document abnormal EEG patterns for physician interpretation. Prepare and submit accurate reports and documentation. Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain EEG equipment. Restock supplies and report defective equipment. Document all procedures accurately using Epic EMR. Participate in required on-call coverage, including nights and weekends. Follow departmental policies, infection control standards, and quality assurance guidelines. Requirements Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEGT.) through ABRET . Current BLS (AHA) Certification. Minimum 1 year of Neurodiagnostic/EEG experience . Experience performing EEGs on pediatric and adult ICU patients. EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) experience preferred.
