1 Description American Traveler is seeking a licensed EEG Technologist with at least 1 year of neurodiagnostics experience for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I trauma acute care hospital. Details Acute care setting within a 545-bed Level I trauma hospital EEG unit covering inpatient and outpatient cases, including bedside routine EEGs, bedside long-term hookups, and outpatient routine EEG tests Patient population spans birth through geriatrics, with required ability to work in both Pediatric and Adult ICU settings Schedule consists of 2 eight-hour day shifts (Monday and Tuesday) and 2 twelve-hour night shifts (Wednesday and Thursday) After-hours call required EMR system is Epic; Natus Xltek is also used in the unit May float between hospital inpatient and outpatient settings Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience in neurodiagnostics Active R.EEG T. (Registered EEG Technologist) certification via ABRET required Current BLS (AHA) certification required Proficiency with standard 10-20 system and cap application Experience with both pediatric and adult ICU EEG required EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) experience is a plus Epic EMR experience preferred License required if applicable Two current references required for consideration: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years of relevant experience Additional Information Conduct EEGs for patients across all age groups following pre-established patient safety guidelines Submit reports to physicians summarizing test results and document findings Calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as needed; document and report defective equipment Monitor and restock medical equipment supplies as needed Orientation is 2 days Gray scrubs required Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are eligible to apply Candidates with any previous employment at a Sanford Health location must disclose this history; prior Sanford employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to the submission date
