This role involves the accurate placement of leads, identification of basic cardiac rhythms, and the care, maintenance, and disinfection of all related EKG and cardiac monitoring equipment. The technician is also responsible for managing EKG data within the CPACS system and performing patient enrollment for cardiac monitoring services.
