Join a Team That Saves Lives Every Day Signet Heart Group is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Certified EKG Technician/Medical Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of electrocardiography. We are looking for a team member who doesn't just know how to perform an EKG—but also understands how to recognize and interpret common cardiac rhythms and abnormalities. Responsibilities Perform high-quality 12-lead EKGs accurately and efficiently Recognize and interpret normal and abnormal EKG rhythms Immediately communicate critical EKG findings to providers Room patients and obtain medical histories Perform accurate manual blood pressure measurements Record vital signs and document in the electronic medical record (EMR) Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during patient visits Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies Provide exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming patient experience Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff
Qualifications Required:
Certified EKG Technician (CET) or equivalent certification Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience Proficient in performing and interpreting 12-lead EKGs Ability to accurately obtain manual blood pressure readings Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to multitask in a busy cardiology practice
Preferred:
Previous cardiology experience Experience with Holter monitors or ambulatory cardiac monitoring EMR experience (eClinicalWorks preferred) What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Truly enjoys helping patients Has outstanding bedside manner Is dependable and punctual Works well independently and as part of a team Takes initiative and has a strong work ethic Remains calm under pressure Is eager to continue learning and growing in cardiology
