An EKG Technician assists with specialized tests using an electrocardiogram machine, to monitor the performance of a patient's heart. Works under the direction of a physician or specialist. Explains test procedures to patients, sets up and runs equipment and monitors readings. Provides reports and readings from the test to a physician for analysis.

- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As an EEG Technician at our facility you will be will be joining a team that is dedicated to serving others in need and also supporting one another.
In this important role:
- + •You will be responsible for providing quality electro-neurodiagnostic test services to inpatients and outpatients, neonate to adult, as ordered by a physician.
- + •You will perform EEG's, ambulatory EEG's, telephone transmission EEG's, and multiple sleep latency EEG's.
- + •You will be responsible for recording electrical activity of the patient's brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders, and localizing lesions in the cerebrum.
- + •You will perform Polysomnology testing including
BIPAP/CPAP
trials.- + •You will perform various clerical duties.
- What qualifications you will need:
