MTCI Healthcare Services (A Division of Metropol-Tech Consulting Inc.) Position Summary MTCI Healthcare Services is seeking a highly qualified Electroencephalography (EEG) Technologist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Puget Sound Health Care System in Seattle, Washington. The VA is seeking a local candidate currently residing in or near the Seattle metropolitan area who can reliably report to the medical center for an onsite full-time day shift. The successful candidate will perform routine and advanced electroencephalographic procedures utilizing sophisticated neurodiagnostic equipment to assist Neurologists in diagnosing neurological disorders while providing exceptional care to our nation's Veterans. Schedule Full-Time (40 Hours per Week) Monday- Friday Choose one of the following shifts: 7:00 AM
- 3:30 PM 7:30 AM
- 4:00 PM This is an onsite day-shift position .
Preferred:
ACLS Certification Essential Responsibilities Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures independently. Perform awake, sleep, portable, and extended EEG studies. Perform Long-Term Video EEG Monitoring (LTM/CCTV). Prepare patients and explain procedures. Obtain high-quality diagnostic recordings. Operate and troubleshoot EEG equipment. Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with Neurology physicians and the Epilepsy Center of Excellence. Maintain quality assurance standards. Follow all VA policies regarding patient safety, infection prevention, HIPAA, and documentation. Maintain equipment and laboratory supplies. Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 50 pounds. Assist with patient transfers. Push and move medical equipment. Bend, reach, kneel, and crouch as needed.
