EMT-Living in Alaska (all levels)

OVERVIEW

: Join SALA Medical as an EMT in Anchorage! Make a difference by providing emergency care and support to individuals affected by substance use. Work with a team to transport and monitor clients, ensuring compassionate and effective service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

: Provide medical care in the field and the Anchorage Safety Center. Transport clients safely and respectfully. Inspect and maintain vehicle and equipment. Use de-escalation techniques and document accurately. Participate in training and team activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EMT Certification (EMT I or higher). Strong communication skills and compassion for our clients. Basic computer skills and ability to handle stress. Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with substance use and mental health issues. Training in de-escalation and CPR/First Aid.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Capable of physical tasks and working in various conditions. Pass drug screen and background check.
