$21- 23 (DOE) Position Overview The EMT Lead serves as the on-shift supervisor responsible for on-site response, team coordination, and operational oversight at the Keys to Change Homeless Shelter. This role is designed for experienced EMTs who can lead confidently in high-acuity, unpredictable environments. Core Responsibilities
- Respond to all medical emergencies and provide patient care within EMT scope of practice
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all medical and operational issues during the shift
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting standards are met
- Maintain inventory levels, track supplies, and report resto
- Monitor team performance, professionalism, and adherence to
EMT ELITE
standards- Provide on-shift leadership and support EMT personnel
- Coordinate with security, shelter staff, and community partners as needed Qualifications
- Current EMT certification (NREMT or Arizona State Certification)
- BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of two years of EMT experience preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills and strong communication abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments with diverse populations
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
- Previous leadership, supervisory, FTO, or mentoring experience preferred Physical Requirements
- Ability to work extended shifts in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and operate standard EMT medical equipment and response bags
- Ability to assist with patient movement and positioning when appropriate
- Ability to remain physically and mentally alert throughout the assigned shift
Pay:
$21.00- $23.
